Most of us have felt it at one time or another. It could be a mild annoyance or like a fire inside you, consuming you and making you feel like you might explode. Although it is a common emotional reaction when a person is feeling threatened or humiliated, JEALOUSY is one of biggest relationship destroyers out there. It strikes people of all ages and genders, which are most typically aroused when a person perceives a threat to a valued relationship from a third party. The threat may be real or imagined.
Jealousy in simple words is the feeling that someone might try to take what is yours. Unlike simply being protective though, jealous feelings can balloon quickly into destructive behavior and cause us to act in ways that are selfish and controlling. It can even cause us to assume things are happening that are not. But conytolling jealously is a bad idea. People who struggle with controlling, jealous feelings are often struggling with deeper issues as well.
Jealous behavior can be extremely harmful to a relationship. At best the jealous person is needy and constantly looking for reassurance that they are the only one and that no one is a threat to replace them. Even though it may feel taboo, simply acknowledging jealousy's presence can both help ward it off in the future. At its worst jealously can manifest in controlling and distrustful behavior, and even physical or emotional abuse.
The foundation of any healthy and happy relationship is trust and respect. A person struggling with jealousy is unable to trust the person they are with or show respect for them as an individual or their boundaries. Overtime this behavior will destroy the feelings of love and affection that once existed. It will also likely cause repeated arguing and a need for one partner to prove themselves and their loyalty over and over again. This can be exhausting and prevent a relationship from growing and establishing a solid foundation.
Jealous behavior can be tough to control but not impossible. The underlying issues rarely go away on their own. If you have found that jealousy is a problem in your relationship, whether it is you that are jealous or the other party, it can be painful for both of you. Getting beyond it will take patience, communication and changing of beliefs. If it working together on overcoming jealous feelings and behaviors isn’t working don’t discount seeking help.
Exploring the emotions that underpin jealousy can inspire self-reflection that may help one to develop internal coping skills. Being honest with the other party about jealous feelings can spur productive conversations about what the relationship might be missing and how to repair the bond will help you. So some of the best lines goes like, “Sang rahiyo sang rahiyo, Samjhe na duniya, Tu to mujhko samjhiyo, Dil na-samajh hai, Dil ko kuchh bhi na kahiyo”

Give and Take : The Exchange
Life is said as, Give and Take. You put things in and you take things out then. The same is true for relationships where a balance of give and take is a sound recipe for long-term satisfaction. Give and take is basically an investment, or 'bucket' system. Sometimes, we put things into the bucket and we take things out. The classic example is a bank account, where we save for the future and take money out for important purchases. Slightly more complex is our career, where we invest in study and hard work and reap the rewards of pay, promotion and personal fulfilment.
Some systems are always positive, for example the money in your wallet. When it runs out, it cannot be less than zero. Yet if you borrow money, your net wealth can go negative, for example when you owe money to the bank. Debt is a source of much woe, often caused by short-term motivations, which makes it a notable persuasive lever. The overall behavioral impact of the system is that it encourages people to seek balance. If I take, then I must give in return. In order to take when I am in need, I must first make deposits. We hence seek to keep our accounts positive at least to the degree of an adequate safety net for future needs, with more risk-averse people with good self-control sustaining a larger average credit level.
A more complex give and take is in our relationships, where we give and take time, support and emotion to and from other people. Giving typically implies generous support that is gratefully received, yet this is not always the case. We can foist things on people or give only reluctantly. And we may be desperate or unwilling to receive. Likewise, taking can range from grateful acceptance of a kind offer to coercive demands. Both give and take can hence be positive and negative in intent and involve corresponding positive and negative emotions.
The way we behave is balancing give and take, which is driven by the personal and social need for fairness. Relationships extend this to work through the force of reciprocity, where there is a strong obligation to repay what you are given, and called expectation. If one person owes too much to the other, resentment and conflict may arise and then relationship may consequently fall apart. An exact balance is not always required as trust acts to make this a 'sloppy' system. The greater the trust, the more negative the balance can become before concern about repayment arises.
The problem in balancing the books of social exchange is that emotion is a complex variable. Gratitude is hence a powerful driving emotion in social exchange. When I help you, it is your gratitude that is the deposit in my account that motivates you to repay me, not just the fact that I helped you. Other emotions complicate the situation. For example if I help you and expect you to be grateful, then my feelings of expectation will give me the impression that I have earned a certain amount of social capital, and that my bucket is a little fuller as yours is a little emptier. Yet if you are not that grateful, you will not think you owe me that much. In fact if you did not need or want my help then you may think you owe me nothing. The positive and negative emotions have opposite effects on the social capital bucket, and the stronger the emotion, the bigger the effect. If you hurt me in any way, then you owe me. If you help me then I owe you.
Love and hate are enduring emotions that have a big effect on give and take. If I love you then I will give much. Even if you do little in return, I will feel good for having helped you and hence effectively reward myself with good feelings rather than expect things from you. The extreme form of this is unconditional love which, as the name suggests, expects nothing in return. Love can also complicate the bucket when it leads to lower expected reciprocity. My expressions of love for you may make you feel that I expect little. This can cause resentment and anger which results in recriminations that erode the love, effectively 'killing the golden goose'.
Hate is often based in the belief that the other person owes a great deal, which justifies attacks that take much from them. When others refuse to repay what we believe they owe us then our emotions become negative and hence motivate harmful action. Just as unconditional love does not consider what is given, blind hate is not concerned with what is taken. Both can upset the bucket and confuse the social capital account, though each is likely to beget itself. Love very largely creates love and hate mostly creates hate. Love results in much reciprocal giving while hate leads to battles of blow-by-blow taking.
While give and take is important in individual relationships, its broader power is in the creation of society. As relationships deepen and trust increases, we may take from one person and give to another. For example a person in a happy relationship will be kind to others, effectively sharing the social capital gained from their relationship partner. This is helped by the fact that emotional exchange is often unconscious. When I help you, I may not realize the value I provide and so do not expect much in return. This gives you the scope to help others without emptying the bucket. The overspill thus created keeps society afloat in a sea of social capital.

Social capital can be gained indirectly when others see you helping people and doing good things. When they appreciate your actions in conforming with social norms, their approval effectively acts as putting a few social credits into your bucket. Within this social system there will be net takers and givers: those who take advantage of the trust and looseness within the system and those who pay for the takers. Givers may be unwilling, feeling as the downtrodden poor. They may also be those who have a seemingly deep well and who pay themselves internally, feeling good just for helping rather than needing material repayment from others. It is this intrinsic system that gives society its net positive social capital and which allows us to live together in large groups.
To gain social capital, remember that you need to gain gratitude or appreciation. It may be a high integrity approach to always do the 'right thing', but if nobody knows then you gain only satisfaction. To create gratitude, satisfy needs and help people achieve their goals. This can be amplified by getting them to realize the depth of their needs and the urgency of their goals. When they are desperate, even a little help will be gratefully received. To gain appreciation, ensure witnesses to your good deeds, especially those who will tell others about your noble actions. If there is nobody to spread the word, you may have to do it yourself, though be modest in this as 'blowing your own trumpet' can lose you points.

Just remeber two things always "We make a living by what we take, but we make a LIFE by what we give, so give thanks and take nothing fro Granted" and "Give and take is a fair play".

EGO: Friend or Enemy ?
EGO, which is normally, treated as something negative, something which is not good, and something which we should not have. People are always ready to explain how ego can hurt you. Ego is generally considered the opposite of humility. "So humility is good, ego must be bad. Isn't it ?"
What is Ego? Ego literally means a person’s sense of self-esteem or self-worth. Now that doesn’t feel like something bad. Self esteem means taking pride on self. By this logic, a healthy ego is must for everybody, but then why everybody does seems to be having so much contempt for ego. Doing anything new, like starting a business, or going against the norm, is directly proportional to how confident you are of yourselves and your abilities. Any of these activities is a proof of a presence of ego. But is there anything wrong in this? For a person, it may make one work harder and smarter to compete and prove the naysayers wrong and it will feel so good when that happens.
While one can say that ego might lead to good things, it is also to be remembered that ego is the main reason of over-confidence and arrogance. As long as you can control your ego, it will work for you but as soon as your ego starts controlling you, it will hurt you. When ego controls you, it can make the truth look false and vice versa. When you are overwhelmed by your ego, you will say words you will regret, take actions you will repent later on, and hurt the people you love most. Your inflated ego can also make people loose trust and respect for you. It might get so bad that people roll their eyes when you enter a room.
So, the EGO is both good and bad, in different ways. As human beings, we all have egos. It is very much a part of our existence but what matters is how we handle it? You can say it is a tool, which we can use to your advantage, but if it goes out of control, it will come back and hurt us. Every one of us knows that too much of anything is bad, and ego also falls in that generalization.
So what should we do, as human beings? How can we know how much is enough, or where to draw the line? We should always stand true to our convictions, but also be willing to listen to others and consider that we might be wrong. If you find reason in someone else’s argument, it is only wise to change your viewpoint rather than taking pride in shoving your point down someone else’s throat. Ego is good when you state your point strongly, but bad when you are not even open to step in other shoes to understand the views and opinions from the opposite side. There is a wonderful quoted line to sum it up –

There is a wonderful quoted line to sum it up –
“If you want to reach a state of bliss, then go beyond your ego and the internal dialogue. Make a decision to relinquish the need to control, the need to be approved and the need to judge. Those are the three things the ego is doing all the time. It’s very important to be aware of them every time they come up.”When a child is born, the only weapon that small creature has is brain. Through the use of this brain, man has created everything we see around now. Nothing was ever gifted to us. Someone created the airplane, the car, electricity, internet, etc and these men created the future in which we are living now. In other words, the whole gist is that man should be wise enough to listen to advice from others, but at the same time have a strong conviction about where one is going. Just to conclude, there is a thin line between the two cases, One should learn that where to draw that line. Every man has a right to his ego, but should never let himself become an object of that same ego. "One may lose the self respect while saving the EGO. "
A bad day for the EGO might be a good day for soul.

Nurture yourself in COVID-19 World
In the last week, it seems that the topic of coronavirus is inserted into every single aspect of our lives. It appears to be the only thing everyone is talking about, it’s all over- the news and on every social platform, it’s directly affecting our lives by governments recommendations for their citizens to stay in homes in order to cap the rapid spread of the dangerous Virus. While what purely we can do is, of course, take proper care of hygiene and our immunity but also fully embrace the fact that we need to stay at our homes for at least several weeks ahead, The Social Distancing. And I think the key to how this experience will turn out for us is how we choose to use this time.
In our hyperactive lives, we often forget to take out time truly for ourselves and go within. I think it’s amazing that many people can finally experience the luxury of alone time. Realize that alone time is not something to fear but rather to rejoice about. Meditation can be a great tool to help you with this and there are so many forms you can choose from! Now you finally have the time to try them out and see which one works for you.
Rather than lying on your couch and watching Netflix, Hotstar or Prime the whole day, Find creative and insightful ways to spend your extra free time. Try learning a new skill, read deep insightful books, take up some self-development online courses, try doing puzzles that exercise your brain, listen to music that lifts you up, dance or just simply enjoy it. Do home workouts, Make it your goal to get in the best shape of your life.
Take care of your health and boost your immunity with proper nutrition. Don’t waste this opportunity! Do care for space around. Make sure you keep it clean and hygienic. Show yourself some love by taking a long fragrant bath, putting on a nice aura, a face mask, etc. Just because you’re not going anywhere, doesn’t mean you cannot look like the best. Do it just for yourself. Why? Simply because baby you are worth it! And also take the time to be grateful and appreciate the blessings of loved ones take out time to call them and share some happy moments to rejuvenate the nostalgic.
Let’s be grateful for the extra free time that staying at home gives us and make the most of it. I hope we all come out of this stronger in our minds, hearts and bodies and more united and connected with each other and nature than ever before.
Stay Positive and think healthy, Avoid worrying about the situation, Normal situation will be restored soon and Divert your mind towards the positive essence and spread positive vibes.

It's OK, to be not OK
We live in an era of image projection where Instagram gets millions of posts per day. One can find hundreds of pictures of engagement, new puppies, marriages, exotic dinners or traveling at any given moment. Although LinkedIn will also be sending you dozens of notifications each month reminding you wish your connection on a birthday or to congratulate your high school acquaintances on their job anniversary.
It is easy to get stuck up in the tendency of creating an illusion or hypothetic situations that go with our lives perfectly together. After all, there will be always four-person keeping an eye on you, who know you hardly. So, what happens when you are not OK? When depression gets in, when negative vibes get too loud or when you get things to let go, get dumped or lose your loved one. What do we do when we don't have a solution? During hard times, many people just want to skip the fact and moment of acknowledging that they aren't OK and go straight to working toward a resolution or the routine work. Admitting that you're struggling doesn't feel as manageable, or fit in with the sense of perfection. Then most people get blasted on social media these days, with reposting that posts which depict the same feeling. But personally, the ability to sit with a feeling of failure can be one of the most important skills you learn in life
Embracing tough moments, instead of swiftly moving ahead, can be incredibly powerful when practiced correctly. Framing the situation correctly is validating and acknowledging the feelings is justified, even though the situation is not ideal, one will have to accept there is nothing wrong with the fact that you're struggling. This is not about accepting and ignoring, this is accepting and moving through. The people who are authentic and honest with themselves can overcome feelings of shame, which would otherwise help in devalue themselves. Dwelling on the feeling of failure is paralyzing. Understand that sometimes your emotions take precedence over finding a solution. We often discount the value of feelings especially in the workplace but need to remember that in the end, emotions are simply information. They are facts of life like any other. Emotions exist, and when making decisions, one will have to factor them in. Suppressing negative feelings can cause an "emotional load" that causes you to burn out faster, give up more easily and ultimately be less successful.
Everyone has points in their life where they make a major mistake or feel overwhelmed by their load and tension. One needs to realize and give themselves permission to be not OK sometimes. They have to accept that there isn't a solution right now, and to say themselves that “that's OK”. This attitude will give the stamina to accomplish everything that one has too, even when times felt dark.
Sometimes, you just need a third-party opinion in order to keep things in perspective. Reach out to your loved ones, friends or counselors. Other people might be able to make a point that you had not considered, or they might just listen and validate what you are feeling. Talking honestly about how you are feeling will ground you and it will even convince the listeners to be more genuine about their emotions and help in a great manner. You will feel relief after talking about it.
We had been systematized by the society to give a sense of perfection, but it hurts more than it helps us. Humans are flawed and they have to struggle in their life just like every other Aam Adami- Normal person. The people who end up being the most successful are not the ones who don't struggle. They are the ones who know it's OK to not be OK.

Detour From Routine Thoughts
A new year is all about the new beginning, new possibilities, new plans, new purpose, new provisions, new growth, new wisdom, and renewed peace. The New Year is supposed to bring hope and joy but too often it feels grim. We make resolutions to be virtuous, to lose weight, to exercise, to unplug from social media, etc. The whole world solemnizes New Year with great enthusiasm and energy. People concerned with various walks of life welcome New Year in their own hearty ways.
We toast to a better, happier world in 2020, but we know there will also be bad news and grief as we recall past failures and fear another losing struggle. Don’t you think this had become a routine thing for every year? Or even insanity?
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. We always say we want things to be different in our relationships, work, health, etc but then we spend our lives locked in comfortable routines thoughts that ensure things stay the same. So to change this thought, we need to break off the routine thoughts and desires, Build a new one and move ahead.
But it is also said that in Human evolution, routine plays an important role because it is an antidote to chaos, but it is important to take a break from routine as well because it helps you gain a new perspective, give you more energy and beautiful life with positive vibes, that’s why plan a vacation this new year from your feelings and negative stuff; stay away from them for some time, feel happy and live happily, try to build all the positive thoughts and go on, so that you can detour from the routine thoughts and come back with a new outlook to life.
Believe me, this detour will be an amazing journey...
